Even the youngins’ came out 2 help

Thanks so much to all of you who came out to support the Washington Square Park Dog Run howl-leen event! The weather was great, the pups seem like they had a great time, and the park looked amazing.

The Washington Square Park Dog Run raised a good amount of money from a lot of amazing donations.  Thanks to all our sponsors for their continued support.

Dinah Bianchi, Tess Balsley, Clea Bochman, Olivia Francescon and Sam Beeken making some fun, scary ghosts for the parade!

Lastly, Dinah Bianchi, Tess Balsley,  Clea Bochman, Olivia Francescon and Sam Beeken children helped to make some fun ghosts for the event.  Thanks for all your help, from young children, to doggy parents, to you all came through to make the event a huge success!

This is a “gentle reminder” that tomm. Sunday Oct. 30th, is our annual event. We hope you all will come to have some fun, support our run, win some prizes, dress up your dogs, and take away some FREE stuff!

Although, as we all know it snowed today like it’s February…tomm. is a new day, and suppose to be a lil chilly, in the 60′s and SUNNY, so the Washington Square Park Dog Run Halloween Event is STILL GOING ON!

Have no Fear!!!!!!!!

We will be there tomm. to set up and decorate from 10am-1pm (when the event starts), AND we are looking for any and all helping hands that want to decorate and help set up! We have a few peeps but we can always use more!

Also, We are also still in need of a few volunteers to help with the event so let me know if you are interested in doing anything tomm. when you arrive, and we can give you a spot/job to do! The judges are decided. Other spots are still avail. ie., raffle table, face painting, and “helping with the parade”. Let me know!

Looking For Sponsors

It’s not cheap to keep our run nice and clean. There is gravel, trash bags, a shed, paint, drainage issues not to mention other maintenance throughout the year.

Welcome to the Washington Square Park Dog Run website!

Thanks for visiting. This website will serve as a hub for dog owners and dog lovers to stay connected to the Washington Square Park Dog Run in New York City’s Greenwich Village.

We will be working on this site in the next month or so, so in the interim we invite you to subscribe to our mailing list and donate some money to the dog run. The Washington Square Park Dog Run Association is a 501c3 and all donations are fully tax deductible and all donations are secure and anonymous.
